Hiking along the coast of the island of Oleron

A hike near Grand-Village-Plage on the island of Oleron in the Charente-Maritime.

The departure of the hiking is done near Grand-Village-Plage. The hike is easy, it takes place in the middle of the pine forest. The forest was planted in the 19th century to combat the sand from the dunes, it separates the marine environment of the marshes. The path of this hike is completely straight and therefore a bit monotonous. You can return by the beach, you should choose to leave at low tide. If you're on a bike there is a cycle path which joined Saint-Trojan-les-Bains from Grand-Village.
