The Sublime Point

The Sublime Point offers a magnificent panorama of the Gorges du Verdon. Don't miss it.

Le Point Sublime is located in the Gorges du Verdon, it only takes a 10-minute walk from the car park to reach the belvedere and enjoy the magnificent view. There are several possibilities of hikes in the gorges of Verdon from the Sublime Point. The most famous is undoubtedly the Samson Corridor to reach the Verdon River located at the bottom of the gorges.

You can find information about the hiking trails, the flora and fauna of the site right next to the car park.

The Lizard Trail

The Lizard Trail
A path for families is marked out from the Sublime Point, it is called the lizard path (sentier du Lézard in French). We don't understand why it is intended for families, it's not really easier than the other trails. An educational booklet (!) is available with information on the environment. No one indicates where to get this famous booklet.
