The Park of Saint-Cloud, cascade, La Fayette memorial

The Saint-Cloud Park is a park right next to Paris. It's a French garden combining forests, fountains and sculptures.

The Park of Saint-Cloud was drawn by Le NĂ´tre also architect of Versailles, it kept its original appearance with its long streets. It was the Park of a castle, but that castle was destroyed during the war of 1870. The Park is easy to access from Paris, You can get there by tram, train or car. For pedestrians the easiest way to go from Paris is the station "Park of Saint-Cloud" T2 tram or metro with line 10. The entrance to the Park is free for pedestrians, but there is an entrance fee for cars (4 Euros). The site of the national monuments

'During the 1870 war the castle was occupied by the Prussian troops. The french bombed the castle and triggered a fire. After the war the castle was levelled, there''s nothing to see today.'
