The Temple of the Thousand Buddhas - Dashang Kagyu Ling

Visit to the Temple of the Thousand Buddhas, one of the main center of study and meditation Buddhist in France, located in the commune of La Boulaye in Saône-et-Loire.

Dashang Kagyu Ling is a Buddhist meditation and study center founded in 1974. The temple of the 1000 Buddhas inaugurated in 1987, rises in the middle of the site. The site is located in the far south of the Morvan and about 10 kilometres from Toulon-sur-Arroux (Saône-et-Loire). You need a car to go to the site. The Le Creusot TGV station is 40 kms. The Center welcomes people who want to learn about Buddhist culture for short stays or stays of several months. Stays allow you to withdraw from the world some time to study, reflect or meditate. The accommodation is on the spot (wooden chalets) or building hard. Tourism visits are free. You can visit the Park. On-site we can find all the information to make contact with the Buddhist culture. The temple can be visited in a group (by appointment) or individually. Visits take place in July and August from 10: 00 to 12: 00 and from 14:30 to 18:30 the rest of the year. The price is € 4-5 according to season (possible reduced fare).
