A walk to Cabourg in Normandy in the footsteps of Marcel Proust.

Every city along the Normandy coast (Etretat, Deauville, Ouistreham...) has its specificity, Cabourg is not as posh as Deauville, there is no stores of luxury brands, it is also less popular and athletic than Ouistreham. To summarize Cabourg is a lovely town with a beautiful beach in Normandy.

The history of the Grand Hotel is linked to Marcel Proust. The writer stayed at the Grand Hotel at the age of 10 to treat his asthma. Inspired by his stay, he returned as an adult to Cabourg and he wrote in a room of the Grand Hotel one of the most famous novel "Within a Budding Grove".
