Walking in the centre of Tournus

Tournus is a town located in Burgundy along the Saône.

The town of Tournus is a lovely little town located on the banks of Saône, the city is best known for its abbey Saint-Philibert, a masterpiece of Romanesque art. Now there are no more monks in the abbey but all the buildings related to monastic life are still present and can be visited. The visit can continue along the banks of the Saône to the Hôtel-Dieu Museum - Greuze Museum. It should be noted that there are two Michelin-starred restaurants in the small town of Tournus, one located right next to the abbey (the Greuze restaurant). If you are in the area, do not hesitate to take a short detour to visit the city of Tournus.
